Offset Printing

Rather than transferring ink from a plate directly to paper, offset printing transfers the ink to a rubber blanket and then onto the paper. This produces sharper images than traditional printing methods as the blanket conforms to the texture of the printing surface. Some modern digital offset printers use a computer to plate system that further improves quality.
